What Makes Our Summer Camp Unique

Our summer camp is more than just riding—it’s an immersive equestrian experience designed to teach, engage, and inspire.

Each camper will:

  • Participate in daily horseback riding lessons
  • Learn horse care, grooming, and handling
  • Explore horse anatomy, behavior, and nutrition
  • Build confidence and independence
  • Enjoy a structured and supervised environment

Our goal is to create safe, knowledgeable, and confident riders while making sure every child has a fun and rewarding experience.

A Structured and Safe Learning Experience

At Wilsonville Equestrian Center, we follow the same structured certification approach used in our riding lessons. Campers are guided through age-appropriate instruction that ensures they build skills safely and effectively.

Every camper begins with:

  • An orientation and skill evaluation
  • Placement into the appropriate level group
  • Step-by-step instruction throughout the week

This ensures that each child learns at the right pace while gaining confidence in their abilities.

Safety is always our top priority. All activities are supervised by certified instructors in a controlled and supportive environment.

Daily Camp Schedule

Each week-long camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, providing 20 hours of structured instruction and activities.

A typical day includes:

  • Riding lessons
  • Horse care and grooming
  • Educational sessions on horse science and behavior
  • Hands-on learning experiences

This balance of riding and education ensures campers leave with both skills and knowledge.
